Quite correct. "God did it" really does explain anything and everything and thus nothing at all scientifically. "ID in fact makes no claims about what the designer might be like" Then that can never be scientific. Science requires when and where and how. "ID’s right to be considered as a position of knowledge" Knowledge of what? That some unknown and unknowable entity did something at some time in the past?
