		<description>Thanks for the comment, Joe. You  and I may want love, but I find that concept only promoted in the Bible. (Love being accepting and offering total forgiveness and seeking the best for another.) The Q'ran and other holy books only speak of appeasement. Seeking to appease an angry god leads some people to sacrifice their lives and the lives of others in hopes of getting it.</description>

Your childhood story reminds me of one of my own, but won't tell it now.
As I read your comments about the Darwinism vs. Creationist controversy I have to say I think it's a matter of faith and love. Believers in a Creator-God do so because He represents love to them - the kind of love they want. On the other hand disbelievers in God will embrace the best available ideology that approximately matches their heart-feelings.
I keep thinking everyone wants love, but I am puzzled why so many look for it in all the wrong places. I am including in that statement all the doctrinaire "Christians" who use the tools of hate in their arguments.
